Hello, i am from Sydney Australia. Two days ago i took my P800 for a service. it had problems with RF and was dropping calls all the time and they sounded like crap. they have now fixed the issues by 'reflowing' chip D201. that was great... this is where it gets intertesing...firstly they said they upgraded the software. i already had R2F, R5A, R2B03, and cda was missing due to formatting the phone. after the service there was no changes in the information window. i expeced the changes to be as follows... R2F, R5A, R2D0x, R5A. these did not appear! what was also interesteing was that i had a martin feilds overlay on the phone, they revoved this and said screen protectors are not recommended on the service report. they also replaced the front panel of my phone and the keypad. since it was under warranty all this was done for free. i find this a very stange experience.... i am assuming that since they recommended to not use screen protectors and my screen has scratches from the stylus then they will replace the screen when it becomes very scrathed and unusable...!!! out of interest has anyone elses screen become scrathed from the stylus and how many styluses have you been through? i used to have the r380 and the screen eventually flaked and came up from using the stylus!!!

I took my phone in for a software refresh and the software details didnt change- I dont know if they even did upgrade it. I dont think they did- just put the old version back on there.

Hi,

I have been using the P900 for most a week now. I removed the protective plastic on the screen on the very first day. I either use the original stylus which came with the set or a Retro 51 Tornado PDA writer. I have inspected my screen carefully and I do not find a single scratch though my set came under very heavy use during this week because it was new and I had so much to learn.

Hope this helps

Best Regards and have a nice day
