As the screen saver is next to useless, wouldn't it be cool to have an option to publish your calendar on the desktop as the screensaver, you could easily activate it by holding the # key for a quick view!

I guess that could be possible but you would have to somehow create and sync a new screensaver every day (or every time you change an item for the current day)

i was thinking more of the existing calendar function having that feature, so that it would automatically have up to date info on it, I know the T610 isn't a business phone but any way I can find to keep more organised is a bonus...

ah, I see you point.

I guess have provided what you want in the form of the shortcut menu. if you need the calendar quickly and often you might consider putting it as your number 1 shortcut so you need only push the joystick left to access it.

I think it will be a few models yet before we see them depart from their current thinking on the screensaver/clock combo

ahh excellent idea! heres december 2003 in 128x127. a little small but somewhat visible. its a little too hard to fit information on such a small screen.
