> Undo feature on P900?
Bookmark topic
I was just editing a phone number for a stored contact, but because I'm still getting used to the handwriting recognition, I accidentally selected the whole number and then replaced it with a random character. Is there a way to undo a text operation such as this? It seems like any text deletions you make are pemanent straight away, and there is absolutely no way to get it back, which is very scary. Normally on other phones or on a PC, there is a confirm or cancel button which means you can backout changes, but I see nothing like this on the P900.

@ drinker, not sure if there is an undo option for that m8, but if you had the contacts original number stored on the sim card you could retrieve it that way, or do some kind off contacts back up in future.

There isnt one on the P800 either.
It isnt a pain if the number is stored, but when it isnt your stuffed.
To add it wouldnt be that difficult for SE and might be an idea for their 1st software upgrade on the P9.
They could add it to the drop down menu that offers cut, copy and paste.

Ya, this has been one of my longstanding gripes too. Editing an important contact in the P800 is risky - if you make a typo or delete an important bit of information there's no way to undo it.
