> P900 Bluetoth problem
Bookmark topic
When I try to sync with my P900 within Mac OSX 10.3 it doesnt work. It finds my phone and it connects but after a few seconds the phone says "timelimit" and disconnects the bluetoth. When I re-pair them it works again a copple of times then it doesnt work. What is wrong????? Anyone have experience with this?

And maybe the P900's BT profiles suck just like the P800's!

Well the thing is that there is no timelimitsetting on the computer or the phone. And it works perfectly when of re-pair them then the next time it doesn´t work. Has anyone had this problem on a PC?

I have this exact same problem and I'm running 10.3.2 on a 12"PB. The problem is intermitent. A repair seems to work as does switching the phone off, removing the battery and them turning it on again.
I have just come off the phone from Sony Erricson who were very helpful but said that they had no idea. The only advice he had was to return the phone to the Orange Shop I bought it from and ask for my money back as it didn't do what it expected to do.
So anyone want a 3 week old P900 ?

Just hang in there. SonyEricsson and Apple have a close relationship, and I think the error is in iSync probably.
They will probably fix it soon.
Waiting for my P900 btw

it absolutely doesn't work with panther. i've been able to sync though. but the next time i have to reset all the pairing info. bluetooth doesn't seem to work consistently with the phone. my earpiece only picks up about 60% of the time. can you do a firmware upgrade with a macintosh?

The thing with the earpeace, maybe it depends on what button you answer with? Thats the way with my bluetooth headset.
No you cant update firmware with Mac, but if you have a friend with a pc you can use his, or you can use Virtual PC for OSX.
