First of all I'm sorry if this has been posted before, but I'm not a regular visitor of the P800/900 forum (for the obvious reason that I don't own one). Anyway, this is an article from the infosyncworld website. The principle is similar to the Nokia observation camera (some loss of profits should arise for Nokia because of this). I leave the ethical debate up to you...
MMS camera for P800
By: Anthony Newman, Friday 21st November 2003, 11:23 GMT
Yellow Computing have released their latest application for the UIQ P800 from Sony Ericsson.
MMS Cam allows users to obtain images from their P800 remotely, by sending it an SMS message. The P800 will then reply with an MMS or email containing the current view from the camera.
The program has the option to save sent pictures on the phone, and restrict the MMS messages it sends to authorized users. The program can also periodically send pictures.
Listed applications include security, party gags and child-minding, while users are encouraged to think of their own ideas.

....although, their idea ( "You can also check if it's a good idea to drive out to your weekend cottage - just check the weather there and then decide" ) does means leaving your P800 at the cottage ?
