I've just upgraded my T610 to R3C... The problem is that I'm a heavy user and I drop my phone too much (posted some pics before, some of you should remember)... I just recognized sth, probably it is a fault in the phones hardware;
When I drop my phone and pick it up, first the screen fades out, then the lights turn off. In a second or two the lights turn on again and the

startup animation shows up. The phone turns on without asking the PIN number and does the things when the phone was on (eg. Locks the keypad even if I don't have auto-keylock on [if I was doing nothing and the keylock was on while the phone fell], enters to the last "page" on the gprs if I dropped it while I was using gprs or even opens the game if I had dropped it while playing the game)...
Creepy, huh?!?
Any comments? Should I give it to a service center for a check-up? Or should I contact to

?

Here's a tip- shouldn't drop your phone 2 much. Has it ever crossed your mind that it could be un-healthy ;-)

definitly sounds dodgy with all these symptoms and I am surprised you are even asking?
I suggest a definite checkup but don't be surprised if you have to pay for a fix if they can tell that its been dropped quite a bit.

I also forgot to write that it happened yesterday again, when I was trying to delete my SMS's; I was in a low RF area and because of the Ramadan Holiday everybody was using their phones and therefore the connections to the GSM provider was dodgy. The phone just went off and on again, showed the animation, found the provider and showed a phone with a red cross on it next to the signal bars... (By the way, I put the SIM card in my 68i too, the phone with the cross didn't show up...)
Whatever, I will give the phone to the service provider this weekend and tell them NOT to fix it without asking me...,
By the way, I can't help it, I'm a bit out-of-balance...

I bought a new cover for it but I won't put it on 'til christmas...

I have the same problem with my T68i when it's in my house. It kept restarting. That's why i decided to buy a T616 and i did.
The funny thing is my T616 has the same behaviour as my old T68i when it's in my house. Thus my logical conclusion is that there is something in my house that interferes my phone which i'm not sure what. I tried to turn off my bluetooth signal (from my computer), Cordless phone and Wireless Router, but none of them seemed to be the issue. Any more suggestion that i should try?
Thanx
Anson
