Can anyone help I can get IR working but I can not use P800 to surf using Opera thru my IR connection to my network HELP please

I think the answer to the question "WHY?" is due to the fact that people have an obsession with using every damn feature of the phone... no matter how totally pointless and un-useful they may be...
C'mon, you really cannot be serious in wanting to do this... although if you have a good reason WHY(?), then we should be very interested to hear it...
I can just about imagine trying to maintain line of sight between the phone and PC... Although of course it would be worth the effort I am sure... imagine viewing the internet on the insanely large screen of the P800, beats a PC any day!... maybe that was one of the reasons why Bluetooth is included on the damn thing, at least then it can be wireless and used more than a metre or so away though

I know I can sync outlook etc via IR but sometime I like to have webpage saved on phone and I do not have GPRS account so I need to use IR to connect to web so I can do the save direct onto P800.
Looking at sites it is suppose to be possible but can seem to sort it, please help.

Reason for asking about sync'ing is this:
Get connected via IR, so you can sync.
Open Opera.
Surf.
Simple as that.
If you have played about with Operas settings, it may stop this working, but above should work 'out of the box'.
ps well done for a good reason to do what you're trying to do!
