correct, for example the P800 requires it to be used manually, i.e. you have to click the flash button at the same time you click the P800 camera button. take a look at

The Flash works but...it's at the wrong angle to the camra!!!
There is however a way round this!!!
Is you get a cable one of the ones for the T68 for the camra, they're about 50cm long and mean that you can put the light where ever you need it!!!
