> address book on T610

i think the address book is really bad. throughthe joystick ONLY the names stored on the SIM are available. And how do i copy a new contact stored in the mobile to the SIM?

you just go to the menu/phonebook/advanced/coppy all to sim and then the phone will start coppying

It`s impossible to copy only 1 contact or less than all from SIM into phone memory.. just copy all.. and after that u can use the phone memory as the primary. Contacts in phone mem. are more confortable for use (more function..).. and so...

Any chance to change from SIM to phone memory as wiht Nokia?
Must be possible, otherwhise very complicated to use contacts???

I use the T610 memory for contacts just fine, and I sync with outlook, there's nothing troublesome about that.
T610 does things different from Nokia, you'll just have to deal with that, or swap back to one.
Why on earth you want to use the archaic sim storage is beyond me

Yeah me too! Had no trouble with my phonebook as all my backup are in my pc and usually i keep my SIM memory free.

Ok, ok! HOW do i see the email adress of someone?! I have to edit it in order to see it..that`s the only way i found. I mean when i wanna check it rather than sending email thru my phone.
