has every p800 user on here have changed to a p900? i realised no one is posting anything new about the p80 anymore. i know that since the p900 is out, the developers would probably concentrate on making new softwares for the p900 instead of the p800....so is the p800 coming the a dead end where no new stuff for it anymore, and finally people would need to upgrade to the p900(or newer version when they come on) to be able to use new stuff??

I'm still with my P800 but may move up to P900 in the coming weeks.
Surely most new apps & games should work on both as the P900 isn't that far advanced over the P800, is it?

Most of the apps should work on both models, because essentially they use the same OS.
From UIQ 2.0 to 2.1 it is mainly bug fixes, and a few updates.

i'm sticking with my p800 until my contract runs out in the next 2-3 months ...

i'd prefer to see what the competition is like then before i decide if i want to upgrade to a p900.

to be honest, spending a lot of money on a phone that still doesn't have profiles and can't accept memory cards of over 128mb doesn't really appeal to me.

i'm sure there will be others who have recently got a p800 or don't feel the need to upgrade their phone every year who will stick with the p800.

i still have my p800 and recently got a motorola A920 which i've unlocked to work with my vodafone sim, hence now and i have full internet, pop email access and excellent camera and camcorder functions on this phone..(a920) within weeks ill have the GPS sorted with an open os which will make this phone a definate p900 beater

but i love the p800 and would be lost without it.. p900 Nah!! not worth the money if you've already got a p800 etc

how exactly will your unlocked A920 be a p900 beater? GPS is pointless unless your a hiker or something like that. You dont have blue tooth or infra red. And the handsets huge with an arial!

p9000 beater my arse!

any way i moved from my p800 to p900 and i cant describe how much better it is i just thought it was just a bit better. Now i have it its so more functional and so small!

hmmm.. so are you guys saying that if i stick to my p8, then i wont feel the need to switch to p9 bec of the limited functions? and if i get a p9, then i will see the drastic improvements from the p8 and would definitely not regret my switch? wow, this is really complicated..

so which is it really, the chicken or the egg?
