Guys! I'm very excited to tell you guys! I have found the fix for the bluetooth not responding problem on P900, (and possibily P800.) Before, My P900 bluetooth would have problem connecting to my bluetooth headset after I use my phone for a while (It would work sometimes). Where I try to make a call from my bluetooth headset, the P900 would not respond, or it would respond for a split of a second, and then the signal gets dropped. And I had to do a hard reset to get the bluetooth back to working order.

If you have the same problem, here's the FIX:

(1) Install "SMan 1.2" on your phone: http://renegade.w3xs.com/droll.htm
(2) Run "Sman 1.2" on your phone
(3) Check all the programs (except for Sman) and click on "End Task" (At this point, you should only have "Sman" in the program list)
(4) Make a Snapshot of program list (Second button from bottom right)
(5) Click on "Extras" tab, and put a check on "Flipclose flush"
(6) Click on "Extras" tab, and put a check on "Ignore 'harakiri'
(7) Click on "Fn" tab, then "Utilities", then "Autostart", then Check "SMan"

After you do all these, your phone will flush all the unused programs from the memory when you close your flip. I have notice four main benefits after configuring my phone this way:

(1) My phone has NEVER crashed afterwards
(2) My Bluetooth ALWAYS work (Perfectly!)
(3) My battery life increased!
(4) No more "Insufficient Memory" bullshit when you try to run programs, Related post on memory problem: http://www.esato.com/board/viewtopic.php?topic=23966&forum=35#post320620

I hope this info will help you guys out! It works wonderfully for me! My bluetooth has NEVER failed me even once after I configure my phone this way!

With all the compelling evidence, I have to conclude that the bluetooth failure was caused by other programs running in the backgound (I don't know which one yet). This could be a bug within the Symbian OS itself.

No, but I can give you a firm whack on the head for going offtopic

To topicstarter: What bluetooth problem is this supposed to solve exactly? Could you point me to a topic where it is discussed?

To Whuzz:

The people that use Bluetooth headset frequently should know what I'm talking about.

As I described in the post:

If you bluetooth works for a short while, and would suddently stop working. (Where it does not respond to your bluetooth headset, or computer) And the only way to correct it is to do a hard reset.

Possible Similar problems discussed in other posts:
