I think that indeed there is a limit to the number of words you can add to the dictionary. You cant check how much storage you are using, or edit what is already stored. A master reset will delete all your custom entries.

How can you look at that how much memory left ?
And how can you edit the words you added to dictionary ?

I also got problems with the t9. Is it possible to do a reset just involving t68m's settings, not involving the phonebook and calender posts? What are you loosing after a reset/masterreset?

darn...i was hoping there is an easier way out of this problem without losing all my settings everytime the dictionary is filled...anyone have any clue that if i do a software upgrade...it would improve and have the automatic replacing function like the nokia t9s...?

T9 is one of the area where our phone sucks. a lot is ranting about how slow it is, and hope that there's a way to edit the custom words you added.
actually, if my T39's T9 can do all these i'd call it my perfect phone.

On the R2B025 I have a pretty strange behavior:
When I add a new word, it says "added to the dictionary", and if I write the word again in the same SMS it works fine.
However, if I exit that SMS and decide to write another one, the word is gone! That is extremely irritating! It would be better if it didn't say "added to the dictionary".
Is this problem there also in other software editions?
God, I should never have upgraded from R2A014...

Jas...
Yup... had that problem b4 i upgraded to MMS... That means that your memory for the custom words in the T9 is already full... Even if you get a 'added to Dictionary' message sometimes, it does not add it in... Still have yet to reach the 'maximum' number of words in the new MMS SW... Will let you know if the same shit happens...
