Well i'm seriosly thinking of taking a road-trip & driving from the UK through Europe, to Malta. Obviously I will stop off along the way.

I want to see some of the world, rather that flying over it. And take 3 days to get there not 3 hours.

I was going to make it into a monte-carlo style rally-expedition.
Maybe even do it for charity and end with a holiday & lifetime experince from it aswell.

But the best part is, that I'm going to drive my 20 year old vauxhall nova!?!

She's in pristine condition with only 57000 miles on the clock - honestly - it is a virgin for it's age.

Am I crazy???

Can I get some esato stickers donated to put them on the car?
I'm trying to get sponsored from Orange aswell & get local press coverage when all the dates are confirmed.

jazzy

Drove down to Italy stopping for sight seeing at Lux, Belg, France, Germany, Switz, drove over the Alpine pass's rather than using the tunnels,i love driving & have nice memories of that tour (used a convertible),i think you will need more than 3 days for what your planning, don't speed in France & deffinately dont drink & drive in France.

@boyi, Thats quite funny.

@Orangeman, oh, the Bilbao crossing,don't forget that in Europe Diesel is far cheaper than Petrol,taking a Diesel car makes big saving on a european driving hol.

Seeing the speedo meter looks like the car's quite ok. Do 1 thing. Get the car serviced thoroughly and in for it buddy. P.s. Do you have an international driving licence? This message was posted from a T310

my guess is that in UK you canīt get a licence that is not internationally accepted. In estonia we have only one type of licence that follows the standard approved worldwide.

The car will be checked fully b4 i go and i will take all the usual spares. I think breaking down will add to the experience :-D My licence is fine as is extending insurance and breakdown cover. I have covered most things. Just need some support to make it a reality and all fall into place so i can make this definate. Oh and some esato stickers! This message was posted from a T610
