I came accross this just before....

"T-Mobile and Trigenix, the mobile interface company, today achieved an industry first by offering consumers the ability to personalise their mobile phones with more than 100 themed t-zones mobile interfaces. Called Screen Styles, these device interfaces allow customers easy and personalised access to their favourite local content channels within t-zones, T-Mobile's interactive multimedia services."

Damn thats annoying! Industry first my ass! Look at all the SE themes that are floating around! The P800, P900, Z600, T610.....etc are all eaisly themeable, and users don't have do buy stupid preset ones. They can eaisly make thier own! If anybody was idustry first at mobile themeing it was surely SE, not stupid T-Mobile! Man incorrect statements like these really annoy me....

Yes, it's very annoying, but it happens every single day. People clam they invented something, thought of something, whatever it is some always invented itr before someone else...

I check the link.
And i never continued to read it.

Immitation is the best form of flattery they say. It took a while, but sooner or latter someone is bound to copy it.

SE should have put a pattent on that idea (themes).
Its one big reason that make SE more appealing is the way one can personalizes their own phones with their own likings; now here comes one company trying to claim the credit for that idea.

Sad that they couldnt come up with their own idea.

Yes it would be cool if SE let us customise the icons too, it's possible with the P800/P900 but but you have to tamper with system files I think. And I know it's possible to change them on T610-like-UI phones because I have a vodafone T610 and the icons are comepletly different. But for some reason SE won't give this option to the end user, oh well. At least they are leap years ahead of blokia themeing!

Themes are a good idea.. Nokia shouldn't ignore it just because SE had them first. And, you could change the colour scheme already in the 7650 that was introduced in 2001, so what if you can change the icons and fonts now too. If a manufacturer has a colour screen in its phone shouldn't we expect it to fully utilize it?
