hi im on o2 and every time i download the correct settings from the www.o2.co.uk site to my phone the data account dissapears everytime i turn my phone off. the phone was originally on orange but was unloock to all networks. can anyone help?? cheers

Well, it's definetly not a feature. The problem is probably firmware related. Something could have gone wrong during unlock, or maybe you flashed a custom firmware... You can try to either do a master reset (doubt it will help), re-flash the firmware, or get the phone checked.

Before you do all that though, it would be helpfull to know if O2 is the only data account that disappears, and if it still disappears when you enter it manually

Another piece of information that might help us is whether the account disappears after you remove your main battery. Do other settings disappear as well, i.e. custom backgrounds, ringtones? Because that would indicate a failure of the internal battery. This message was posted from a T310

Flash memory (used in the phones) does not need power to hold information. The internal battery is used for the clock.
