T610 Weaknesses !!! [hope for improvement in future models] :
1. Not TFT screen
2. Camera resolution damn low, not VGA one.
3. No additional memory eg memory slot/memory stick
4. No video recording function
5. Do not support EDGE
6. Bluetooth is short range one ( 10 m only )
7. No Radio
8. No Multitasking
I hope

company will consider these weak points in future and beat other cell phones by making a perfect 1.
Whatz your opinion?

Consider that the T610 is pretty cheap i dont think you can expect so much more from it.
The phone has a LOT of god things,
BT
Hires screen
MMS
GPRS
cam
good standby
and so on,
And the most important thing, the phone is so small, and once again, dont cost a fortune, i think its great. So stop complaining.
(Sorry for my bad english)

My only problems i have with it is that when some wapsites have pics on them,if the pics are large it crashes the phone(restarts it),and the camera quality,i was expecting it to be at least as good as the mca-20/25. I know that if i upgrade to R3C(from R1L)it gets better but not a great deal. Its a cool phone for the price tho:-D

I think that when you buy a phone you should look at the specifications and see what you want and need in a phone. Theres no point in buying a phone and then moaning about features it doesn't have when you knew there are others that do have these features.

Caveat emptor. And dun worry, i'm not gonna curse ya. The weaknesses or rather features were well discussed. Its up 2 the buyer 2 decide given the stated specs.

I'm in one of my "work avoidance" moods, so here's a nice long reply for you.
I agree that all your 'weaknesses' would make improvements to the T610, but you have to remember that even though the design of it is so sharp, this is still a phone that is aimed squarely at the mid-range market - you just have to look at its price to see that. If you need all the things you mentioned, then there are alternatives in either the P800/900 or (dare I say it) from other manufactures.
1. Not TFT screen
Yes TFT Screens are better, but one of these would probably bump up the price of the phone significantly. There’s not really that much need for a TFT display on T610 anyway, because since there’s not a movie player it wouldn’t benefit from the increased refresh rate. The idea that a TFT will magically stop sunlight drowning out the screen is over-stated too. If the sun is bright enough to make reading your STN display difficult, it’ll make any other display type pretty hard to read too.
2. Camera resolution damn low, not VGA one.
I agree fully that this sucks, but I am yet to find a use for a camera on my phone anyway so it's something that I personally just don't care about!
3. No additional memory eg memory slot/memory stick
I see no need for expandable memory in a phone unless it has more advanced PDA features or a media player, like the Px00. With the price of non-volatile memory at the moment though, there’s no excuse for SE not to include about 16MB in the T610 for photos, ringtones and games. 16MB would be more than enough imo.
4. No video recording function
No comment, because as with your point about the camera resolution I just don't see the need.
5. Do not support EDGE
Don’t know a lot about this, but do the majority of service providers even offer it yet?
6. Bluetooth is short range one ( 10 m only )
Hmmm, I half agree on this one. A longer distance connection would be nice with my PC, but other than that I can’t think of anything else I come across that has a 100m range. Until more devices get the 100m Bluetooth chips built into them, it’s probably not worth the increased battery drain on mobile phones.
7. No Radio
Yeah, a radio would have been nice and would have added very little to the cost of each unit.
8. No Multitasking
This is not something that I’ve felt restricted by.
If I was creating my own list, the only things I would think important enough off your items are the radio, and the increased memory … although I would choose to have more built-in memory, and not a card slot. I’d probably keep the camera resolution complaint as well, just to make everyone else happy.
Other than that I’d add:
9. Slow processing power, the Java and general phone operations are too slow.
10. Not very good Java support. It should have support for internet, infrared and Bluetooth operations.
11. Can’t copy Java applications. I’d like to be able to send apps and games to my PC and other people’s phones from my T610. (I can understand why they don’t allow this though)
