Bookmark topic
I heard it with my own ears!
According to the advert on the telly, "This Christmas at Carphone Warehouse, ALL pay monthly camera phones are FREE"
Hmm - we shall see!

Its "from free" and yes you can get the P900 for free if you have a £100 a month contract from CPW

Nothing in the Terms & Conditions says you have to stay on that tariff for ANY lenth of time, so an imediate downgrade gets you the phone for £110 + 11 months at £15 = £275.

@grex, Show me where.....
Onestopphoneshop says that, but CPW doesn't, nor does Orange.

@pachy i'll have a look when i'm next on the net and i'll get back to you. i'm sure most shops will tie you in to a minimum term though.

@Grex, obviously they don't advise their sales team to talk about it, they will tell you 3 or even 6 months, but the actual truth is, no minimun term applies to CPW, i checked very carefully & rang & asked the Terms & Conditions staff, no period exists, look on your contract reciept & it wont even say your monthly payment commitment, just that your on an Orange plan for 12 months, they told me they can't implement a minimum term because Orange don't have anything in THEIR terms & conditions. CPW will still have to cover the cost of the handset but can't legally pass it on to the customer.

@pachy not arguing mate, i may well be wrong. so, what you're saying is, i could go into cpw, get a p900 for free, then downgrade the tariff to a £15 per month one the same/next day? sounds great, it just doesn't make commercial sense...

Theyre probably relying on the customer not being too aware of that.
