> T610 vs 3650 RF put to rest!
Bookmark topic
Ok, I've been saying over and over again that my T610 does better than my 3650 in the RF department. I know it's not a bad 3650 because, well, it's my second one with equal performance.
No one believed me so here you go.....two pictures taken 1 minute apart (SIM swap time) at the same location.
Notice, no signal at all, I held the phone there for over a minute to give it a more than fair chance at gaining a signal.
Notice 1 bar of signal on the T-Mobile network. Also note that the T610 is known to be able to place and receive calls even with NO bars. The T610 also picked up the signal as soon as the phone was turned on and never lost it.
Everyone says the 3650 is just the big man on the block for RF and then knock on the T610 for the subpar RF yet here is my T610 grabbing and holding a signal where the 3650 could not even find one.
Now I'm not saying the Nokia is subpar...it does a good job on RF but I think everyone understands the point I'm making here.

Hey, I think the T610 sux compared to the 3650, but I agree the reception is not as good on the 3650 as on some phones (eg T610).

To iammike:
can you find one T68i also to compare the signal strength with T610 at the same place at the same time?
I would really like to know that.

I can try but I've yet to even see a t68i in real life. haha
I only know of 2 other people that even use GSM.....scary, isn't it, I know they are around but I never see them.
I'll try though.

fair enough but so far all nokia's i've ever used have killed SE in terms of rf in Canada...it's a shame but also true..
maybe you have a super t610. casue the one i had before sucked as well..better then the t68i... the t616 was better for NA and the p800 was better than that one... but the t226 has been stellar in terms of rf... and i'm only talking about the 1900 freq.
I believe howver that in Europe an SE would have the same or better rf .

I'm starting to believe I just might have a freak T610 myself. Makes me scared to touch it, no changing face plates, no firmware upgrades... etc, might lose what I've got.
