when did the p800 come out? I am just wondering how long it took for the p900 to come out. Do you think a new version will be out within 2 years or sooner? I know cell phone updates happen frequently but since this is such a special phone maybe it would take longer.

But at the same time, when the successor is released, there will be rumours of the next phone. That's just how it is, but it means we allways have the latest available to us, rather than the best being 2 years old...

WI-FI= Unlikely as SE at the moment dont want to implement this technology as the majority of its customers are satisfied with BT which is just finding its feet in the world. Also reworking the Symbian OS has not favoured the likley hood of Wi Fi.

SE are working on a 3G smart phone which is getting their full attention at the moment. WIP name is SE Inteligent 3 it will be launched summer 2004 to coincide with the new "3" competitor. Which i cant go in to more detail on.

i hope the next one has a nicer casing. I have a p900 but the only reason i had doubts in buying one was because the way it looked. I know most of you will want to kill me for saying that but that is just my opinion.

i dont really like the rectangular design, or the bevel edges on the side. I thought the keypad was a little big but they had every right one doing that it makes dialing much more comfortable. The earpeice is huge I thought they could of reduced the size a little bit on that. ( by the way i am talking about the part where you put your ear to the phone). The colors dont really do it for me i guess the silver is ok but the grey is kind of dull. I know i am being picky here but I gues when I first heard about this phone I was expecting something diffrent.
