it was a bad day...you were in a bad mood...getting out of your car..holding your t68 in your hand and trying to lock the doors....Suddenly...This beautiful phone slips from your hand...slowly and gently...and you watch it in slow motion as it heads towards the solid ground...everything goes silent..you hear nothing...your brain can't function right, to give a signal to rescue that phone...and you simply watch that phone just go down and down...till the crash...the sound of a Gun dropped on the ground...but thankfully..it doesn't fall apart in pieces...so you rush after that moment passes...you pick up that phone to see the damage....Somehow..there is a very noticeable chip in every single corner...you try to imagine how did each chip happen....and your day got even worse...your $400 phone is now USED.....

DiD that Happen to you Yet?

I always feared that... that's why I bought the ICT-13 case for my T68. It's pretty handy... makes the phone a bit bigger though, but it does act as a shield against everyday bumps. It protects the back and bottom of the phone against scratches. I'm thinking of getting a Write-right screen protector for the Palms, and cutting it to fit my phone screen... just to protect it from scratches, plus it makes the screen glare-free.

Yup... that just happened last week. Anyway, I have used the T68 for 6 months and this is the first major fall so I am happy about myself... usually my phones get all scratched up in less than 2 months, just like my V66....

Anyway, think of the good side, at least the phone is still working! Think how sad it will be if you need to have it fix... not just the time you will be without your phone, but it will probably cost you money since that is not a problem associated with the phone. Also, phone covers can be found in many places now now so cheer up...

mine hasn't fallen, but much worse happened to my g/f's... it got a car trunk slammed HARD on it (the trunk even latched closed, with the t68 half sticking out of it, half inside...). the LCD of the phone was broken, but we replaced it ourselves (ordered for $50 via internet), and i was really amazed to find that everything else still works perfectly. not even a single scratch on the phone itself, and not only did the glass/plastic screen not break, it is not even scratched! (and the screen is the part that the trunk slammed shut on). i'm afraid the trunk didn't fare quite as well though, and is a little dented... but at least after this, i'm no longer afraid to drop my phone!!! and i must congratulate ericsson on making such a flimsy-LOOKING phone so very solid!

I dropped my t68m a couple of weeks back on my kitchen floor which is tiled. Case was fine, not a mark on it but the volume switch came off though not straight away. I noticed it had gone a few hours later. Couldn't find it anywhere. It cost £20 to repair This post was posted from a T68
