My org firmware is R1A05, and the phone has UK English. The UK English changes the address fields in the contacts application. I have an American English language file, but it's R1G, and won't install on my phone.

Does anyone have an Am Eng language file for R1A, or do I need to wait for the online firmware update?

Thanks

What's wrong with using good old English English?

UK English uses United Kingdom-style postal addresses in the contacts app.

American English uses City, State, and ZIP code fields in the Contacts app.

Some words are also spelled (spelt) differently. The default date format is different. The default currency symbols are different.

SE makes separate UK and American English language files to address these and other distinctions.

I can change the defaults, and the address fields map in a reasonable manner, but once I can find the language file I want, I plan to install it.
