> HELP- P900 wont restore my data

Hi
Iam having problems restoring my P900
Backed up P900 and restored to factory settings
I disable Norton anti-virus
I have downloaded & installed PC suite 2.0.1 on my Win me pc but I do get an error capiinstall.exe during the install process. dont no whether this is my problem but......
When I go to restore everthing is ok up to switching phone off & on again.
Please wait while restore is initiated...
Connecting to phone...
Verifing backup...
Checking files in phone
at this stage sometimes it stops (blue line half way through some time it goes to end and stops).
Both times the hour glass stay and double ended arrow stops moving in bottom right.
It wont go further.
Tried reinstalling PC suite 2.0.1 still same
tried cd version still same
tried adding one new contact and backs up & restores ok to factory restored phone
Any help appreciated as my trusted P900 is only a phone with contacts at present

u might have a running program that is ruining the restore it happened to me one time in my p800 where I have installed appfroge and tried to backup and worked fine. then restored it to factory settings/ master reset then It won't restore!!! damn. but fortunately i have seen an error on my alarms.dat file. I deleted it and restored once angain and worked.
By the way U have a p800 and shifted to p900 and restored the contacts manually. Have u tried restoring the sms/text messages manually that came from your p800 and restoring it to your p900????

Did you obtain a copy of Back-up Inspector? If so have you located the key files you need to restore?
