So everytime i try to install something from my computer it's not coming up with the 'installation error' box.

But when i install something from the Sony disks (you get with your phone) it works no problem. Can someone help me with this?

(i've tried searching but i can't find anything to help)

They are both .SIS files.

Yeah i'm doing it that way, and i'm still recieving the error. It goes through the first part of installation, then comes to the user unknown/install anyway part, and then the installation error box appears.

If you have installed sis files from your SE disc to the phone ok

And you have enough memory left on the phone then the sis files might be corrupted

What files are they

Yeah, i also tried to burn the files to disk to see if this would make any difference. But it never. I chanced the name of the first file, because i was just trying everything. It's the program to allow video capture using your p800.

Also, the other one is MMSCam.sis.

So the one file is the CAMCODER sis

There are two versions of this software

One works on newer firmware the CAMCODER HACKED version works on the older firmware

Maybe the file you have works only for the NEWER firmware

That could possibly be the reason.

I don't suppose you have the link to the older version for the Camcorder do you?
