why?? buz you press one time on keypad (when you writing message..when writing any word ) proviso you should know the spelling of this word after that the phone give you more than one word you can chose any of it by pressing on space key.and the phone can save new words in dictionary to use it later when you want.
what a clever phone.

Interesting tho, is that T9 (on my phone anyway) does not do 'predictive' text ie it does not finish the word for you. Other barnds (such as my old Samsung) do give you a series of options on how to finish the word. Personally I am not overly impressed by

T9

yeah it's T9 it's finish the whole word...example if you want write (see you) press button 7 one time then button 3 two time then press # (for see word). and press button 9 one time then button 6 one time then button 8 one time then press # (for you word) and so on keep going like that for any word you want write it. try it you'll see by your self.
it's simple and very fast

Vlamm - i'm not sure about the new nokias, but certainly the old ones you had to type in the entire word - and the predictive bit was the phone cycling through the word options - in the same way the Z600 gives you a list to choose from.
but fair point though - it's not 'predictive', it's more 'pick from list' input.
