All,
I am posting this thread to get your views and any feedback you may have with your handsets, faults, problems and anything else you may have found wrong with your phone since purchase!.
Currently I am still awaiting for my P900 to arrive with anticipation and excitment, I have now been waiting three weeks or so. For those that have read my posts within the OneStopPhoneShop thread you will no what i mean!.
From all the threads and posts that i have viewed i am starting to see a pattern emerging, within the UK anyway. It would appear that this latest batch of P900's have problems. Please correct me if i am wrong or advise if you are experiencing problems wherever you are. I have came to this conclusion as i am switching to the Orange network, none of the dealers seem to have stock in at the moment and there are a lot of disgruntled people out there right now. I have been told by numerous people/shops that the P900's have been recalled due to certain software issues. Again please correct me if i am wrong!.
I have the utmost faith in SE sorting this out but it seems like this latest batch has been corrupted, again UK(GLOBAL, please advise!).
Who knows, please post your problem's/conspiracy theory's here!!!, i would appreciate feed back from all Networks within this thread, cheers!.
And for those who have already received their P900's, staring at them now, snoozing within their cradles on there desk's. Fairplay and respect to you all!, Enjoy!!
Cheers

Got one from OSPS within a week of ordering (2 1/2 weeks ago now). Sent it back the next day because Bluetooth was not working properly. Waiting for a replacement - none available it seems because of problems.

4 days... no problems. Didn't exspect Sonyericsson to make such nice phone, casue I didn't have a chance to see it until 2 days before my purchase. I am usually lucky with hitech, but last month had laptop problems, so will see...

Three weeks and no problems at all. Tested and used all usual features. Use BT with two headsets and for synchronising.

I think a lot of reported p900 problems can be traced back to problematic 3rd party apps and inappropriate battery charging initially.

I think Slick- is trying to determine whether there is a pattern to the buggy P900s or not.. I suggested a few times that it seems that the Orange released P900s have shown the most problems so far... I made the suggestion based on the plethera of post made by disgruntled Orange contract phone holders on Esato and elsewhere... Mathematically there are more Orange contract P900 owners in the UK.. However, there have been several P900 owners that purchased their phones sim free because P900s are not available through contracts in their area (including me). I'm going on 5 weeks and I have not experienced any of the issues most have.. Could it be coincidence that the problematic P900s happen to come from Orange? At this point I am starting to doubt that.. But then again, my opinion is that there is still something fishy with the contract phones.. The phones are modified for the carrier thus there is a good likelyhood that it might have software corruptions during that process versuses virgin manufacturer phones..
List of problems - Out of memory - Bluetooth - Phone Restarting - etc..
How many of these problems are familiar to contract carriers vs non-contract phones? Is it a legitimate uniform P900 bug targetting random owners? So far all signs point to Orange. Maybe I'm wrong..

I'm not 100% certain about this, but before starting to use Sman I had no problems with BT. Now, after using the Bluejacking feature I find that my Jabra BT200 does not work with the P900. I hope a uninstall of Sman and reset will fix things.

I have used & owned several Orange P9's over the last 6 weeks (i use one as my main phone) i have not come accross ANY problems at all, i run a 128 stuffed with apps & other stuff, i am SURE that the Orange "Software issues" was just an excuse by sales staff who couldnt get stock,
After a P800 i know how the P9 works & i notice that alot of so called "software problems" are actually "User problems".
Although if you have a P9 with a jog dial that doesnt work, then its a bad P9 & neeeds replacing, but thats not to be confused with software probs.
