Easy peasy!

Click the jog dial once towards you and then release. Then click it inwards once and hey presto!

You can also tap on the battery icon at the bottom of the screen, this brings up the lock screen option instantly. This message was posted from a P900

Or,

Press the little menu button... top right of keypad... and then number 1, or the ok button, or press the jogdial in...

So many ways to do the same thing eh !

OR even better, you can have it automatically lock screen in flip "on" & in flip "off" mode, click on "Control panel" then "Locks" then tick "auto keylock" box.

THEN, click on "Control panel" then "Display" then "Screen" tab, & set the "Automatic input lock to 1 minute,

Some people also miss the other choices when you tap twice on the little arrow above the DONE box (bottom right) this gives you options for clock screensaver & backlight.

My keylock has been working fine for a couple of weeks now, but it's stopped working today. The flip is removed, when I click the battery icon, 'lock screen' is greyed out, and with the virtual flip there is no option to lock the screen at the top of the menu like there used to be. I can't think what I've done to stop the lock working, and I can't see anyone else that has had the problem on these forums, please help!

Mate,

I thnnk you'll need a Master Reset! Try a soft reset first (take out the battery while phone is on and then replace it and switch it on).

I've had a couple of weird things with mine, the worst of which was that it started to answer itself, even with auto answer switched off - now that's bad! Master Reset was the only thing that worked.

Just make sure you back it up first!

Thanks for the advice, I've done both a soft reset and a master reset, plus I've tried reattaching the keypad but the lock option is still gone.

I'll take it into town tomorrow, see if anyone else has seen this before.
