Hello,
I have a 85 MB movie on my mac, which I want to transfer to a P800.
As far as I know the cradle/dock doesn't work with mac.

I can't transfer it through BT because the phone's internal memory isn't big enough for 85 MB.

Does anyone have a solution?

Do you have one of the Sony USB memory stick readers that you can plug into a USB port on your Mac? Copy the file onto the Memory Stick then put the stick in your P800... (I'm guessing, I don't have a P800!)

Yes, that's a good idea. Many media card readers for the Mac support Memory Stick.

Thanks for your replies.
But the thing is; it's not my p800.
And the owner doesn't have a mac,
so we're looking for a cheaper solution..
Maybe I've got an old version of VPC somewhere, should this work?

I am sorry, don't quite understand what you mean he doesn't have a Mac? If he has Mac OSX, he has to have a Mac. Yes, it should work fine using the PC Emmulator. Just make sure you put the file you wont to transfer on a folder accessible for the emmulator.

Does your friend have a PC?

If so, why not just transfer the 85mb file to his PC (via CD-ROM, Zip disk, USB Flash Memory or whatever) and transfer it on his PC?

That's what we're doing now.
When I have 4 or 5 movies I burn a CD with the movies on it.
It's just easier plugging the cradle onto the mac (and cheaper, we're dutch...

).

We will keep on working like this and I'll try VPC when I get it.
