Hi,
I just noticed that whenever I turn off the phone, when I turn it back on the time and date show 03:00 01-Jan-03. Does this happen to anyone else?
Regards

I have never heard anybody report that problem and it certainly never happened to me. Sounds like a fault in your T610

Thanx Masseur, fast as always
It doesn't really bother me (This is the first time I turn off my phone after two months), I was just curious. Now I have a good reason to update the firmware though
Cheers

No but i guess if u let ur phone without the battery more than an hour it might reset. Not on restarting anyway. It might also b the internal battery that is not working.Try the service menu u can see there if the internal clock's working.

Yep, it's your internal battery. It's responsible for keeping the clock going when the phone is off or the main battery is removed. Get it replaced at a

service center

I does sound like you've got a dead internal (backup) battery, but it seems weird that this is used to keep the time when your phone is just switched off. I would have expected the phone to use your main battery for this whether the phone is turned on or off.
