Ouch..!!

If you dont mind being on o2, they are giving P900's (unbranded rather than orange-ised) for free if you take the £45 a month tariff for 3 months

That is nicer deal than orange and you don't have a phone with orange all over it and embedded into the operating system

I phoned the Orange Online shop earlier this evening. Before the message quoted above was posted in fact - they are out of stock.

Not tried (won't try) Carphone Warehouse.

Ordered one a week & a half ago from OneStopPhoneShop. Have paid already - the money's gone from my account - still no flippin' P900 though!
... and the staff hackles go up every time anyone phones to ask for an update on likely arrival of new stock.

Looks like Carphone Warehouse hogged the lot of the last batch made and nobody else has any (except sim-free - not even remotely useful to me), and nobody is willing to even stick a moist finger in the air to feel which way the new stock of P900's blows in from let alone when.

Maybe they'll be sold for high prices on eBay in 10 years time as a classic vintage limited edition mobile handset, only 1000 ever made

It seems like CPW no longer have Orange P900s on their website. There was a rumour about the P900 being recalled because of software problems, but I don't know if that is true or not.
