Try searching for this part number on google MSH-M256.

http://www.savastore.com/products/product.asp?catalog_name=Savastore&product_id=10271977&pid=45&tid=3

So the question is will this work? I have a stong gut feel it will

I see what you mean! Looks promising but I'll wait for more compatibility info especially as I'm OK with my 128MB for now.

???

Why only showing up on some UK sites ???

This is a big well know computer company in the UK that have it listed ???

Even a 256mb duo (non) pro willl not work on the P900 as it is limited to 128mb only, when a new firmware unrestricts the phones maxium external memory only then will it work, unless i am mistaken. This message was posted from a P900

Some logical thinking:

First, the productnumber is MSH-M256, so it's going to be a 256MB non-pro duo stick.

So Sony for the first time could be breaking the 128MB limit. If this is the case then ofcourse most devices will require a firmware upgrade to make use of it. And they will release new firmware, otherwise what would be the point of introducing this new memory stick.

(Ofcourse, Sony could be dumping it's Duo Pro line in favour of the normal line. This is so unlikely it shouldn't be worth mentioning as a possibility.)

Or, it'll be a 'Select' memory stick. If this is the case then no firmware upgrade is needed at all. Note that nowhere is it refered to as "MSH-M256 S".

Looking forward to finding out what this may be.

No SE fone will take the MSD Pro. Infact, the MSDP (great naming Sony) is design for high end digtial cameras. Its not intented for phones. Also MS non-pro only go up to 128mb, UNLESS its a memory select stick. If you want more details, do a search. This is an old rehashed topic. End of. This message was posted from a Nokia
