> It's only Eric's son!
Bookmark topic
My neighbours, Jean and Eric were going on holiday and told us just so we'd be aware that the house would be empty. They said their son was staying at his girlfriends.
A few days after they left, we started hearing strange noises through the wall so my husband went to investigate.
I was frantic while he was gone and was relieved to see him back. Thinking he'd caught a burglar next door, I said, "Did you deck him?"
My husband replied, "No, it's only Eric's son."
(now say my husband's response fast!)

FYI, all names that ends with -son are old Norse names meaning exactly that. Andersson was Anders son, Svensson was Sven's son, etc. In Iceland they also use -dottir (daughter).
The most famous Norse man is probably Leif Eriksson (son of Erik the Red) who journeyed to America far earlier than Columbus.

Why do they spell ericsson with a "c" instead of an "k" that is the original name. I know this sound stupid but in sweeden they spell eriksson. everybody know that ericsson is a swedish company.
