Hey forum

Just purchased myself a T300, nice little thing

Now, I want to redo some of my favourites and maybe my own tunes for the phone, and naturally, I have some questions:

Which formats (polyphonic) does the phone 'understand'?

What are the limits for the midi files, eg. how many channels/voices, max. length, tempo restrictions etc?

And what kind of sound module is in those things, and which standard does it use? GM? GS? Naturally, I'd want to use the closest sounds when I compose on the PC, to get some idea of what it will sound like on the phone.

Is there a tutorial somewhere that explains all this, by any chance?

TIA

T300 offers 24-tone polyphony. In my experience there's no limit in size or length, i quite successfully use whole self-made songs in standard midi format. They actually sound rather on par with the wavetable instruments of my sb pci64, except for the bass which is oft lost in the mix. I use Irda. This message was posted from a T300
