The search isnt working at the moment.
Ive been through some of the threads
but I can't find any full cda numbers.
I need a number because Im trying to fool the update
service into thinking I have a normal phone.

When I put that number in it says the latest
version is R2B02.
I thought the latest version is R2A10.
What CDA number are thay using
to get that version?

Sorry, don't know, as I said I found it on page 3 of the thread "just updated my p900 fw" It certianly didn't then mention any latest version to me when I tried to update with this CDA, it didn't even then tell me I was already on the latest version, but continued to complete the update process without a hitch, bar the fact that once the process was complete it had not updated my phone, but put it back to an Orange freshly purchased state

@T0001
When I said search I was referring to simply viewing the topics in this forum.. It's been posted several times, but here it is again...

You guys must understand what the CDA # does.. At this point the CDA ID should be the least of your concerns.. If you do not have an OEM P900 then don't bother with any online updater at this point.. By OEM P900 I mean a phone that isn't modified by the contract carrier... If you purchased your phone sim-free/unlocked then you are fine. If it was in any way modified with software from a contract carrier then your CDA would more likely be different from the standard OEM.. The msg that Orange users are getting regarding that CDA check in lament terms is SOL.. The notification is a false argument that the updater uses to figure out what phone is OEM and which is carrier modified.. I am guessing all Orange purchased phones have a uniform CDA # (meaning the Rxxxx part).. The P900 is only carried through one contract carrier at this time (ie Orange) I think... So technically speaking if SE places the Orange CDA # in the updater code it will return an argument that the phone is already current.. However, the word "current" really means "you have what your carrier wants you to have at the moment". Those that have bypassed that msg by going through auto-install will still end up with the same Phone firmware revision.. Again, that's because the updater checks for that CDA # (meaning the Rxxxx part) and once it identifies that it is not approved it simply does NOTHING to your phone, but proceeds as if it did. I believe its an SE programming code to prevent Carrier phones from being tampered with at a user-level..
