Could this be Z1010?
This is the statement from one of Malaysia online new portal
"As part of the contract, Ericsson would supply RM20mil worth of handsets to Maxis to be partly used for the pilot rollout."
Note : RM3.8 = USD1

Could they have customised a SE 3G phone only for sale in M'sia? Like what Sharp did with its maxis camera phone? But if its Z1010 it would be good news man!

It is the Z1010 alright. I knew about this since wednesday. Maxis is going 3G (WCDMA) with Ericsson. Z1010 will be handed out to provider.
