> Sync P900 with outlook
Bookmark topic
I have a problem.
In the contactlist in P900 there are normally two numbers for mobile (1 home and 1 work). The home mobile number will not sync to outlook (i have lokked in all of the fileds in outlook). And if I add another normal home number - totally two home number - the second will not go over to outlook.
I think you can configure outlook but how can you set up the exactly bindings you want? In the syncprogram for T68i you can set bindings by your self. I cant find this option in the sync program for P900.
Also, I had a Palm before I got my P900 and there is a phone field called "other" and its in my outlook like "other" also. How can I set up to sync this number too my P900?
Help !!!

Unfortunately, I've got the same problem and lack the solution, so I'd be interested in a solution too.

Unfortunately there is no solution, I've e-mailed SE and they said it's because Outlook only has 1 mobile field and that there is no "work around". How hard would it have been to add a field mapper??

Thats exactly what I was thinking. But I've read that if the battery runs out on a Windows Mobile device it looses it's memory, just like the PDA's, and I have personal experience of this!!
If SE can't fix this with the new 990 then I will have to look elsewhere for my new phone. I've already checked the Nokia's and they work fine so maybe a new N91 or something??
Does anyone out there know of a workaround for this??

When I sync contacts with more than one number on my P900 and Outlook 2003, I get the name of the contact for each phonenumber there is.
3 different phonenumbers (home, work, mobile etc.) makes 3 contacts with the same name, but with the different phonenumber - works ok for me

@Foxhunter:
It is not working with my P900. My P900's contacts are synchronized perfectly with Outlook 2003, several phone numbers under a single person's name.

Hey T-shirt and foxhunter.... the 3 numbers you mention work fine, it's only if you have 2 "mobile" numbers that it messes up. Try it, put in 1 work mobile and 1 home mobile on one of you contacts. Only the work mobile number will sync with Outlook.
I have tried it with all versions of Outlook and no luck
