I've had the same problem while trying to uninstall certain programs--while trying to uninstall Agile Messenger to be precise. It's strange but I think some of the files that are trying to be deleted might be in use? So for some programs you just might HAVE to manually delete them.

the thing is, when a file is still being used. u'd get the error msg " file is in use" and if they ARE in use. u wouldn't be able to delete them manual , for example a font file. once u put a .gdr font in c:system/fonts. u cant manually delete it, usually i'd put it in the memory stick and then remove the stick / boot phone, put the stick back and remove it.
i dont think being used is the problem.

I had the same problem when I tried to uninstall Agile Messenger. I can't find Agile Messenger in the application menu but it's still there in the uninstall program list. Does anyone know how to get rid of this program?

You need to shut down the apps before uninstalling them, if you can't then i find that using filemanager (not the crap one that comes on the phone) works but you may need to be sneaky, by deleting some of the susiduary/secondary files of the app first, then going back to the main file or going to the P9 app uninstall menu, some rebooting & general messing is sometimes needed, but it is a good excuse to play with the phone more

well
here's what i found out.
its all because of the installation file. probably the code or something.
try this, the program that shows access denied over here is IM+ for P800 , so i'll mention what i did with it, u guys try with the programs u mentioned like agile messenger. i have no problems with agile. anyways
if u newly installed the program. and without running anything. try reinstalling it again. , it'll install to a certain point and then stop. with the same shit access denied bullshit. try removing the file inside d:system\install\
in mycase its IM+ for p800, and reinstall the program "without uninstalling".. u'll find out that it works.
well, since some of us are aware, when we uninstall a program in windows. the last line or the 2 lines in the uninstallation bar. usually for removing the logs and the uninstall program ... i think thats the case over here too.
i searched all the folders and directories for files begining with implus. and couldn't find them. unless u've previosly set it up and configured it. which u'll find some of the files in c:system\apps\implus and system\data.
bottom of the line. when u get this access denied shit.
just remove the file in system\install wether its d or c , depends on where u wanned to install the file. that would solve everything. so no worries.
but im asking ...
why does it happen. i still dont know. maybe the code?
i wonder if p800 would get the same error msg.
oh well.
peace.
