Hello

I am not able to get a contact with my cell phone to the pc via infrared for syncing with xtnd connect pc (the software which i use for sync my lotus notes with my t68, trial version 4.4 - i do not want to pay 60$ for a non functioning prog). as i found some articles that match my criteria in some way, i cannot fix the problem. mobile modem settings/drivers and other configuration tools do well without
problems. only xtnd connect pc has got problems with infrared. i get following error message

"some of the infrared communication components are missing" --> where do i get this ? Furtheron I cannnot chose my T68 while installing the software. only one model is shown (R320s). Additionally, "irbridge kernel-level interface" in device manager is shown as not installed, driver is not recent?

does anybody know this problems? use someone this software for notes sync as well? would be nice getting some help

meckes ;-(

You didn't say if you have W2K or not. If you do, you need

Hi Estor,

thank you for your hint. Yes, I have Win2K and it may be the solution. I will check it out.

Hey,

I have an omnibook xe3 (gc) and i have upgraded from Windows 98 to Windows 2000. I then recently enabled my IR port and started using it. The problem came when I restarted my cpu, and windows wouldn't start. When i disabled the IR port (in the BIOS), windows was able to start again.

Can anybody help me solve this problem, possibly providing a link where I can download an update for the IR port to operate in Windows 2000?

Thank alot!

Hello! I just bought an IrDA adapter, and I'm able to synchronize it with Palm Desktop 4.0 using PDASync. It's pretty cool!!!

I'm also able to use the Ericsson Comm. Suite to configure my T39m's settings.

I would like to continue this topic. I got the same problem with "IRBridge Kernel-Level Interface" but due to Win XP then I cannot apply the mentioned patch to system. Is there any update for Win XP? Thanks.
