Hello,

I got my new P900 a couple of days ago from o2. Please can someone help me with with 2 questions I have?

If I use the screen normally with care, will there be risk of damage if I dont use a screen protector? How long will the screen last?

Is the standard supplied case sufficent for the mobile? It seems like a very tight fit and im worried it might crush something or cause strain! Dont want to break my expensive phone.

Thanks!

Welcome to esato!
If you clean your screen daily and don't put unnecessary fingerprints on it it'll last a long time.

Welcome to ESATO
If you care about the phone,if you don't drop it down and if you clean the screen it'll last a long time.I've cared about my old R380s and it is working properly and today (I've sold it to one my friend).Before I've got T68m,which I've droped down the floor and on its display appeared one red spot.That was the broken pixels I think.

just buy a god damn screen protector

bet your one of them daft twats who think that screen protectors are simmilar to the piece of plastic which comes on the p900

well your wrong they are smmoth plastics clear surface which the stylus glides along smoothly and no it wont leave glue marks on the p900 as they stick with static and are clingy not sticky.

Here you, sadly enough, have seen another of Vermainias standard replies. He's the one here on esato who always attacks a questioner.

Get a screen protector so you'll never worry about scratching the screen. There's a thread on somewhere here discussing the diff screen protectors available. Cheers!

@harb

Welcome. Just a tip, as a new user you'll have lots of questions and Esato is a good place to get answers. But try to do some research before and ensure you give people here lots of information so that you can benefit from our combined knowledge of the P900. And..this place is full of fun characters...one of the best has has already posted on your first thread.

Regarding you second question, I prefer the Krusell pouch as it has a belt loop and therefore is not likely to unclip from your belt. The tight fitting of the standard case is less of an issue. Have a look here at some cases. The Krusell pouch can be bought from eBay from about £11.
