The time varies from what site your on. 1-5 min max for 1 tone. See your service provider for costs as GPRS and dialup wap are different This message was posted from a T610

It won't take that long. I have downloaded tones in about 10 to 15 seconds. The costs also depends if you download free ringtones or not of course This message was posted from a WAP device

On gprs downloading stuff is quite fast and you can download them via wap sites. Which phone you have? Take it. It rocks ;-) This message was posted from a WAP device

you will need either infra red or to transfer the ringtones from your computer to your phone. it takes like three seconds. by the way, if you hold down the alt key and press 0163 on your keypad (the numbers to the right, not the ones above the letters) you will get £. i hope this was the answer you were looking for.

I have to pay £3 per MB downloaded on GPRS. Expensive if you ask me. You can get it cheaper if you buy GPRS bundles. I'm on Orange in the UK, contract.

the damn americans (t-mobile) can get gprs flatrate for $29/mo, a special subscription...

would be cool to be hooked up to e.g. msn messenger with a smartphone all day.
