OK now , The number of P900 OWNERS has dramatically increased here over the past few weeks.
Due to the help of the folks in CPW , Orange and O2 it is much more available , so now it's easier (and cheaper) to own the P900 (hopefully I'll be joining the group soon...

).
However , One thing that wasn't discussed in length here is the BT car kits. Yeh , Most of the owners have got themselves a BT headset by now , but is it really the BEST option? Wouldn't you rather have the full kit installed in you're car?
I've looked at the kits from MOT , SE and Nokia and couldn't really find anything between tham , so I guess expirience is the best way of reviewing these.
What do you guys say? WHo has what and what are you're impressions of the kit you've got?
Cheers.

Personally I don't like to make holes etc on the dash board of my car and therefore I prefer a BT headset, which I can also use when I am driving my wife's car. I believe Expansys sell a P900 compatible BT kit called the "Parrot CK3000".

I've used the Nokia and the Parrot car kits. Parrots beats nokia by a million miles. The sound quality is amazing. With Some phones (SE T68/T610, Z600) it offers advanced functionality like phone book sync to which u can then save voice tags in the kit providing for infinitely better voice dialling. With the P900 (and P800) it only supports basic call pick up and drop as these phones only have the BT Headset profile and not the more advanced Handsfree one. Parrot have two different kits, one is the CK3000 hardwired kit, the other is a cigaretter ligther plug in softwired kit called DriveBlue, stay away from it.

I would recommend the SonyEricsson Bluetooth carkit, the HCB-30. It works excellent with SE phones, supports voice dialing and you only put one small controller (which looks very nice) on the dashboard. The rest you can hide.

I tend to agree that overall the best way is to use a Headset (still can't decide between the HBH 35 or 65). However , since my wife doesnt like the headset concept she wants a full kit in her car. The SE controller looks great but so does the MOTO one.
Since she has a MOT V525 , I lean towards the MOTO car kit. Any idea which one suits both makes (i.e. - If I've got the P900 and she has the V525 - What car kit suit both better , MOTO or SE)?
On the same note , Would the HBH headsets support both makes? I know it suppose to but wonder if someone has this setup already...
Cheers.

I would recommend that

enables the Bluetooth Handsfree profile on the P800 and P900. That way the phones can be used with manufacturer's BT kits (Honda, BMW, Toyota, Mercedes Benz) and offer full functionality.
Until then I'll just use a headset.
