With P800 I used to have some issues with Outlook synchronization.
P800 was not synch the task categories from Outlook and I had to place them manually. Is P900 still the same?
Also a non-timed event with recurrence was not synched properly. Is things getting better in P900. In general I think SE should re-write the PC Suite, the P800 was loosing alot of itsother excellent qualities because of it.

I've never had a problem with sync on any of the items either on the 800 or the 900. I use Outlook 2003.

The only thing is the annoying security warning when it asks you if the program should be allowed access :-|

Could you try a test:
Create an all-day event in Outlook and put eg yearly recurrence.
Then sync. See if it comes correct on the P900.
In P800 i was getting the event in 2 days (the same).
If a task in Outlook is in category eg Personal na dyou sync, in P900 it goes under cat Personal of in no-categories?
Thanx a lot,
AK

Do the categories transfer to and from OK with Outlook 2003?

They do such a good phone and the pc suite is crap. If someone has been working with ipaq/palm he will find this sync a joke.

I love my P800 and the only reason I haven't gone to a P900 is because I've had sync problems from day one!

Just added Christmas day as an all day occurrence - it's only half a day normally for me as I normally get pissed at lunch time and pass out. Repeated every year.

Synced for 400 days after today and it just brought up appointment for 25th Dec 2003. Not good. Then synced 'all appointments' and it replicated the appointment to 2004 and beyond. Good. However, it left an original single appointment on the 25th as well. Not good.

So now I have 2 Christmas days on Christmas day which is good because I can get pissed twice. Not good because I now don't trust the syncing software at all.....

yeah, very true. the sync software is a real joke. can't trust ist -> waste bin. suckers, braindead se suckers. damn fine phone but such a messy, crappy stinking piece of shit. it took me all day just to realize that there probably just ISN'T any solution to sync the p900/p800 correctly.

Period. Forget about syncing painlessly. Oh dear - I wish I had my first Palm III's comfort now ... why did I sell it? Together with my old nokia 5110 it was the perfect match. IT WORKED. damnit.... se sucks.
