I'm talking about REAL internet, not WAP!

For some people, they can use this method to get Free Internet on P900 / P800 (Depends on your Service Provider), if not, you would just have to pay a little (Few bucks a month), OK guys, here it is:

First contact Cingular (or your phone service provider) and tell them that your are trying to send FAX with your laptop through your cellphone. They will then enable CSD on your line (data-enable). This is free for some service provider, but in my case, to enable CSD for Cingular @ California is $3.99 a month, Which is still super cheap, consider that I will be able to use all the internet I want with this method.

Then signed up for free dialup internet service at http://access-4-free.com they give you 10 hours of free internet every month. And their service require no additional software, thus, works with P900 / P800 (If you go past 10 hours, it's $1 per hour and max at $10 dollars, once you reach $10, they stop charging you, and you can use all the internet you want, personally 10 free hours is plenty enough for me!!)

Now with your P900 / P800 built-in dial up service. Control Panel=>Connections=>Internet Accounts. Add "NEW" and select "Dial-up" Then just simply enter the account information you got from http://access-4-free.com when you signed up (login, password, access phone number). You don't need to change anything in the "Advance" tab.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!!
When you pick your Access Number from the Access Number list, YOU MUST PICK THE NUMBER WITH "v90", and NOT "v92/v90". Your phone will only work with the "v90" ones, I've tried it, none of the "v92/v90" numbers work.

Now you're ready to enjoy Free Internet on your phone!! You could use Opera browser to surf the internet, send/receive emails, chat on IRC via Java based client, access FTP (Java based client), even Instant Messengers (MSN, AIM, Yahoo, ICQ,..etc.) All the bandwidth you can use, without charge! (besides airtime, which I have unlimited nights and weekends)

If your service provider would turn on your CSD for free and you use less then 10 hours of internet every month, then you'd basically get FREE INTERNET SERVICE on your Phone!!!

Or you can just switch to T-Mobile USA and get unlimited GPRS for $4.99/month.

It's actually $19.99 a month on T-mobile for Unlimited GPRS for service plans of $29 dollars and above, or $29.99 if you don't have any service with them.

And for Cingular, they'd charge you $74/month for unlimited GPRS at California.

The price above are all for California subscribers.

If you're in the UK and you're a pay as you go user, go to the shop dept on the o2 site and get yourself a o2 pay as you go online, top up a MINIMUM of £10, gives you 300 free txts and 300 free wap mins

What about GPRS use? CSD is tooo slow. Then again GPRS on PAYG is fixed speed as CSD is'nt it stick on contract i'm with t-mobile instant email i get 100mb a month for a tenner not bad 10p mega byte and a very reliable and good speeds.

@mikaljan, CSD is £10 a month in UK on Orange, also i am interested in what the dialup numbers are because i think they are chargable here.

Thats the problem, all Orange YP plans dont charge for ringing 0800 numbers,
but they DO charge if the 0800 number is a "calling card" or "DATA".they never used to but they nipped it up.

(Oh, just to add, Orange recently started chargiing for 0800's on all their OVP plans)
