Dropped the T68 (yes yes i know!)...has some scuff marks. i've got insurance with the Carphone warehouse, but i doubt it'll cover MINOR cosmetic damage. I've found though, i can scratch off the paint around (and carry on down) the scuff/scratch mark. It flakes off after a while like those scratch cards!!?

It isnt cronic...but it's abit wierd. Any ideas apart from shoe polish!?! (JOKE!!!)

Thanks in advance,

Dan.

If one wanted to make an insurance claim one could perhaps "accidentally" lose the phone or "accidentally" run over it with ones car. This would provide one with a new phone.

Heheh, i thought that aswell...then i though..

If i get my phone changed once (by accidental damage), do i lose all my insurance?

Or could i say, (Really!...not 'accidentally' loosing it) Say if i did actually drop it one time > Get it replaced, then get the replacement stole would i get a new one then? or is it only one replacement?

Thanks,

Dan.

Plus - say if i got one of nightic's black/gold covers (not official) and fitted it. Then it went faulty....the SC would obviously know it's been opened cause it's got a different cover on - warrenty void? Or do the SC fit it?

NO UNLESS YOU TAKE THE PISS WITH MANY CLAIMS

AS ABOVE

Thanks,

Whether you do or don't get a replacement from the insurance, just another tip to avoid further damage: Get an ICT-13 holster and use it as a protective cover. (Though it just partly protects the T68).

Just my € 0.02

@jammods

Fit it before i go in?...im saying, If i bought a WHITE T68 Cover, and fitted it before i go in, they would know i tampered with the T68 because no where sells a brand new T68 with any colour other than the grey/gold.

So they'd know it had been tampered - warrenty over.

Night IC - any ideas?

I meant fit your old grey or gold cover back on if you ever have to send the phone for warranty work etc. Its only a couple of screws mate, not rocket science believe me I took mine apart the other day.
