> What's up with ya'll and the Z1010?

I'm wondering why I hear so many people here talking about that they're going to get the Z1010 when it's out. Is it just because there are no good looking 3G phones, is it because it's a new SE, is it because people think it is soooo good looking, what is it for you?
Personally I think it looks ok (I don't really like clamshell), but the phone is really huge, especially the thickness. So I try to understand why people really want this phone. Enlighten me.

For me its the mp3 player,video,up to 100 metre bt range and it will be my 1st clam,but the no1 feature has got to be the gsm use without having to sign up to 3g to use it :-)

whats the point in 100m bt if no other devices support it? transfering files to a pc from 100m would be great though. i guess one day we will all have 100m bt and bluejacking will have to become a crime.

what I can't understand is why people want to buy the Z1010 to use on GSM and not 3G?
anyway for me, until I can do data at 3G speeds (2mbit) it has nothing to offer me.

Here in sweden it's the same prizes for 3g and GSM (even cheaper sometimes) so what I'll do is that I buy a Z1010 even if I most often will use it in GSM I also can use it in 3g

i wouldnt want it on 3g because the three network in the uk is crap. i have a friend who is with them, it took 6 days for a txt msg to go thru their system. there are a number of other complaints he had as well. give it a few years then 3g phone will be worth getting

@glassjaw,my pc dongle has 100m range :-) @masseur,3g wont be available for everyone when it gets released,but lots of ppl will still buy it and use its gsm until 3g becomes available to them,i thought that was obvious :-) U must be tired mate ;-)
