Hi All
I bought a vodafone live t610 last week. I have Successfully connected to live and my own wap site and mail server on the first day i had it... The next day i could not connect, so rang customer services and they sent new settings to supposedly cure it. This didnt help and the customer services operator told me I would have to take the phone into a vodafone retail store and ask if they could check out if the phone and sim were ok...
After this call I though I would try a master reset to see if that helped. After doing this I got everything working again. Live, MMs and connecting to my mail server worked fine again!
Well last night everthing stopped working again! I just says connecting, but no little world icon appears on the sreen like it does when working properly.
I dont really fancy doing another master reset and having to enter all my details again! Does anyone on vodafone find that their live service is flakey or is there a problem with my phone??
thanks
Neil

Thanks for the replies...I have just tried clearing the cache and switching on and off, and that has allowed me to get access to my mail server again and i can get internet access on my bluetooth ipaq. It still won't connect to voda-live though or my own wap server that i have in my bookmarks. The error i get is 'communication error. please check settings or try again'
When trying to send or receive a picture message the error just says 'comunications error'
I have a fairly old firmware revision, I think. R1a081 at a guess?!? Would an upgrade help? I rang my local SE service centre and they said they would only upgrade it if there was a problem, otherwise they charge £25!
cheers again for the help

OK it's working again after manually setting up the data accounts with a voda customer services operator..I hope this isn't an ongoing thing..I never want to type a URL into a phone again!
I will look into getting the firmware upgraded to see if that helps maybe.
cheers

I don't know where in the UK you live, but visiting London two weeks ago I had quite alot of trouble getting GPRS connections in the Vodafone net. Not that it's always a breeze here either :-/
