Hi!

I have over 8 megs of internal memory left in my P900 from Vodafone.. And i have no problems using the communicorder to record VIDEO, but when i try to take a photo (have tried indoor, outdoor and auto setting) i get an " out of memory" error!! Any clues to what this might be????

have you tried using a task manager like Sman to see what applications you have runing in the background?

I had the same problem on my Orange handset and found that it was because lots of applications where still in the memory as they aren't shut down properly (or at all) when you open another one.

Failing that, you can get rid of the problem by switching your phone off and on to clear the tasks....

Have tried SMan and closed all tasks.. have 940k of free RAM, and still can't take any pics!

The apps running are:
Flipkey 48k
SMan 136k
EiksrvBackdrop 528k (what is this???)
Applications 80k
Connunicorder 124k
Appicker 52k

and that's it!! Still getting memory errors when i try to take pics! (both to internal and external memory)...

Don't know what the 528K thing is....

I do know that when I clear allthe tasks using Sman I had between 6 - 7 MB free..
