Hi there, i thought i would mess around with the BT on the pc today, managed to pair with the P900 but the only service option it gives me is Dial Up Networking.

Ultimatley I want to sync through bt but can't see how. any help?

You need to use the serial port profile. Assign a serial port to your PC-Bluetooth and make sure your PC Suite is "watching" that port.

This "tutorial" applies to a TDK Bluetooth dongle but it shouldn't be so hard to apply to your particular Bluetooth interface.
