A while back there was a thread on whether this would work or not. Consensus seemed to be that it _should_ work but does it really? Seeing (or hearing in this case) is believing. Has anybody actually tried this yet who can confirm interoperability?

Thanks,
Diego

ALL bluetooth headset will work with different phones. They all use the same standard.

So the Nokia headset will work with e.g. T68i. Unless of course something is not built correctly in the headset

From what I know it should work (Ericsson headsets to other BT phones). Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that the main reason Ericsson shared Bluetooth technology to other developers, to make it universal?

Ericsson headsets DO work with other bluetooth-phones.
They use the same "bluetooth-standard" ALL of them.

Motorola headset will work on all other bluetooth phones as well,.and so will all the other headsets.

The only difference might be in the phone itself,..meaning how the bluetooth-menu "looks" in the phone.

I've tried an Ericsson headset with the 6310. And it works. I've also tried the Bluespoon with the 6310.

The way 6310 works,..is a bit different, and there's been some problems with the bluetooth-part, but that has nothing to do with the headset, its the phone itself.
The 6310i should work better.

Its encouraging to know that the Ericsson headset works with the Nokia phone. However, I would like to do the opposite, Nokia headset with Ericsson. Anybody ever try that?

Thanks,
Diego

Unless the headset or the phone is faulty, it will work, because they use the same bluetooth-standards all of them

It doesnt matter what the name of the headset or the phone is. If everything is built the way its supposed to, it'll work with any headset or bluetooth enabled phone.

I dont even know if Nokia's headset is actually out yet,..its not here in DK. It should have been out a while ago.
