A few hours before someone created a thread to ask the same question.
So
Flaming done.
You can only set up an email account if your provider supports pop3 connection (which hotmail doesn't for free).

Same response as my previous post.
Instead of starting to ask for every Webmail provider, just check if the ones you're interested in support pop3.

Those big Webmail servers like Hotmail, Yahoo, etc, usually don't provide pop3 access to your e-mails freely.
Personally i don't know any that supports it for free. Maybe someone else in this forum can help you finding one.
Anyway, if you want to search yourself, see in the providers sites and their support pages if they have pop3 support.

You can only use the kind of email accounts that require you to use the programs 'Outlook Express' or 'Outlook' on your computer to send and recieve mail.
This means that hotmail, yahoo, AOL etc. cannot be set up on your T610, since they are what's known as 'web-based' email accounts. Your T610 cannot view web sites, only wap sites, so they are all a no-no, i'm afraid.
If you have ANY email account that you have to use 'Outlook' for, then that account can be set up.

Cycovision, fyi - you can actually access hotmail in outlook and outlook express as they both support HTTP mail.

@masseur
True, but most people use the web based interface for these services.
I was just trying to explain the difference between pop3/smtp accounts and web based accounts without going into god awfull technical detail
Of course, you can use web based interfaces for pop3/smtp accounts too!
