i think this has to be normal. it happens to me to. is this a file you encoded in your pc? maybe you should change the resolution to match that of the p800 (wide)screen.

There are a couple things you can tweak to make Widescreen mode better or minimize pixelation.. Check out the pics below.. In the 4:3 screen (pic 1) the details are quite clear. In the Widescreen mode (pic 2) you can still make out some details of Neo's face even from a bad pic taken with a digital cam. The video quality didn't deteriorate much or noticeably. In the other pic (pic 3) you'll notice that in the a 4:3 ratio the pic quality of a differnt file is quite clear as well. However, it is possible to minimize pixalation when stretched to Widescreen as I did with the vid in pic 1.
One thing you must take in consideration when encoding is to know your media capacity. The two files pictured in these pics are about 2hr + in length. I judge quality based on the length (duration) of the file plus the media size it is able to fit. Most don't take into account that if they encode 'DVD' quality video it might not be possible to fit a 2hr + file into a 128mb stick. If that's the case then how is that practical for a device that has a media capacity of 128mb. I find segmenting a file useless and impractical in that sense.. However, I have been able to produce very good quality files with these parameters in mind: File duration / Media Capacity / Visual Quality. Some will concentration one of these three parameters, but not all three., It no longer becomes practical for the Pxxx phones if you can not meet all the parameter requirements.

But quality is quite good... There is problem with frames per seconds... 4:3 mode is smooth but widescreen jumping as slideshow! ... I wanna to convert small movie (about 10 min.)
